  • Add caption, description and tags
  • Click on "Advanced Options" for more detailed options
  • Add external link to each file uploaded (if needed)
  • Set a unique reference id to the media file

When finished and saved click on the "Next" button.

Add Description and Metadata (SEO & Visuals)

Edit metadata on an existing asset

Open Media Library / Assets, select the video or other asset, and open its settings or Asset Info. Update its title, description, and tags, then save. You can also edit media details in a gallery's Manage & Upload step. Check the asset itself when it is reused in multiple galleries.

Use a specific title that names the task or topic and a description that explains what the viewer will find. Metadata supports organization and discovery, but does not guarantee a search ranking. Review the associated transcript separately when preparing content for VideoGPT.

For a new upload, follow Upload Files. For administrative labels on a collection, use gallery tags; those are different from tags on an individual asset.
