Asset Info

This article explains how you can update information and metadata related to media assets. To access the Asset editor, open the asset settings by clicking on the Settings icon.

You will land on the Asset Info page by default. Within the Asset info module, you can update the following information:

  1. Title
  2. Description
  3. Notes
  4. Tags
  5. Advanced Settings (Player Controls, Related Link Text, Related Link URL, and Reference ID)

Add tags to filter your Image and Video Assets

You can add tags to your uploaded video and image assets to enable filtering them by tags.

Video tags and image tags are a great feature for users with multiple number of galleries and domains.

This feature is also important for organization and enterprises with various internal department, to help in easier filtering of assets according to the needs of specific departments like marketing and sales.

Note: You can also add tags by hovering over your content in your “Assets” and selecting “Add more tags”

Once you have added tags, you can filter Cincopa Assets by tags you select on the left hand side section.

Advance Settings

Under the Advance tab, you can select the Hide All Controls checkbox to hide the player controls on your video assets. Hide Play Button will hide the Play button from your video asset. Auto Start checkbox will automatically start the video eliminating the need for user to manually start the video.

Using the End dropdown options, you can select what happens when the video ends. You can either Pause on the Last Frame to pause the video on the last video frame, Reset To The Thumbnail to allow users to set the end frame of a video to be the video thumbnail, or Loop the Video to play the video in a loop .

Insert Related URLs to Asset

Related URLs are important on-asset information to insert clickable links when an asset is added to your gallery.

Under Asset Info insert URL in the Related Link URL field. (You may also insert Related link text)
